Project  –

IDWe Ltd were part of a huge electrical renovation project at Barings, focusing on 8th and 9th Floor balcony.

Highlights of Services Completed Included –

• Isolation of electrical services – to allow the existing electricals to be disconnected whilst the roofing works were undertaken including the fire alarm, audio installations, water supplies and the re-wiring of the power supplies back to the existing planter positions

• External weatherproof distribution boards were supplied and installed

• Supplied and installed of a new sub-main to the 9th floor external distribution board

• Re-configuring of 8th floor electrical supply to for a new external distribution board

• Low level LED strip and LED spots were supplied and installed outside on the 8th and 9th floor balcony.

• Supply and installation of socket outlets to suit external electric heaters for the 9th floor balcony

• Improvements to weather sealing for cables

• Cable tray was also laid to run wiring from the new distribution board to the lighting

• Modifications of water supplies

• An electrical test and inspection of all the works completed

The site was cleared of all items and disposed of at a licensed refuse/recycling facility.

Result –

The electrical works were completed as part of a larger project.

Barings customers can enjoy the surroundings of the balcony with background lighting and heating.
